It’s handball to the fore this weather as Clogh Handball Club have been named winner of the David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star award for the month of February.
For the second month running, it’s a team effort and the public have spoken (along with the Scoreline sports team) this week and named Clogh Handball Club overall winners, not just for the immediate and recent successes of the likes of Abbie Flanagan in Leinster and Shane Dunne in the US, but also for the ongoing work with more of the clubs younger players and continued development of the sport of handball.
Congratulations to all at Clogh Handball Club and we’ll be catching up with them later this month to find out more about what’s driving development and success on and off the court.
Nominations for the March award are now open and you can submit yours here.
