Clogh Handball Club in association with Gaa Handball Ireland and Aiseiri/Aislinn youth treatment centre Ballyragget are hosting a 60×30 Gold Watch handball tournament at the Clogh court on Saturday 22nd June starting at 10am.
The aim is to promote the awareness of the Aiseiri treatment centres and raise money to upgrade a Sensory/relaxation/Meditation room at their Aislinn Ballyragget centre for young people who are suffering from addiction to relax in while attending the Aiseiri centres.
Aiseiri gives help, guidance and treatment to individuals who suffer from substance abuse and also care for the mental health and well-being of victims.
Clogh’s Senior and Intermediate handballers are taking part as is players from all over Ireland including current senior singles Champion Robert McCarthy (Westmeath) and the senior doubles holders Gary McConnell/Brian Carroll (Meath)
The winners will receive Gold Watches sponsored by Race horse trainer Jim Bolger
