The Club Players Association are calling for all 11 weeks of the club window to be used for that purpose only.

Club fixtures can resume at the end of July and run until the middle of October, when the inter county season is due to resume.

The CPA want to ensure counties don’t use the period for blitz competitions which would allow inter county panels to get back training as soon as possible.

The organisation has been surveying players ahead of a return to action.
