Seamus Coleman will start at right-centre back for the Republic of Ireland in their final home fixture in the 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign.
The Irish captain replaces the injured Norwich City defender Andrew Omobamidele in the team while Sheffield United full-back Enda Stevens is preferred ahead of James McClean in the left-wing back position.
Portugal manager Fernando Santos has made a string of changes to his team with one-eye on Sunday’s crucial clash with Serbia. Captain Cristiano Ronaldo does start for the Euro 2016 champions however.
