Tom Mullally’s senior hurling team will begin their Division 2A league campaign at Netwatch Cullen Park at 2pm when they play host to Kildare.
It’s a crucial tie for the Barrowsiders as they look to defeat David Herity’s men and begin their push towards the top-tier.

Later in the day, the county’s footballers travel to the SETU Arena in Carriganore to take on Waterford.
Off the back of last weekend’s comeback draw against Wicklow, a victory for Niall Carew’s men would significantly increase their chances of returning to Division 3 in 2024.
Live commentary on KCLR for that 5pm throw-in will see Brendan Hennessy and Willie Quinlan behind the microphone.
Then on Sunday, we’ll have all of the post-match interviews from both games and we’ll be discussing the fallout from the results with our expert analysts.
