It’s yet another busy weekend for Kilkenny hurling fans.
With the Walsh Cup well and truly out of the way, Derek Lyng’s side begin their Allianz National Hurling League Division 1 campaign with a trip to Belfast to take on Antrim at 2pm on Saturday.
There is a hectic period on the horizon for the Cats meaning the game promises to be another chance for the new management team to test players on the fringe of the panel, while they will also be determined to get off to the perfect start ahead of next weekend’s visit of Tipperary.
KCLR will be building up to the game from 1.30pm before Oisin Langan and two-time All-Ireland winner Michael Walsh bring you full live commentary at 2pm.
Following the game, we’ll be getting post-match reaction from both sides.
Then on Sunday at 4pm, three-time All-Ireland winning player Andy Comerford speaks to Scoreline about the season ahead for Kilkenny, his time as O’Loughlin Gaels manager and the emergence of fellow clubman Mikey Butler and other O’Loughlin’s players onto the Kilkenny panel.
KCLR analyst and Dicksboro manager Michael Walsh will then reflect on Kilkenny’s first league game of 2023 and look ahead to the clash with Tipperary.
It all starts in earnest this weekend for Kilkenny as the serious business begins.
KCLR is the only place where you can hear full live commentaries of all of Kilkenny’s Allianz National Hurling League, Leinster championship and All-Ireland series games in 2023.
