Graigue-Ballycallan can add another award this year to the club room.
Young gun Conor Murphy claimed the top spot in the voting process for the David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Award for October, keeping Clogh Handball Club and Gowran Pitch & Putt club at bay.
The half forward was in electric form for his club, in particular the Michael Lyng Motors Intermediate Hurling Championship final which saw Graigue-Ballycallan escape the jaws of defeat in the most dramatic of fashions with a win over Tullaroan.
Murphy took 1-3 alone in the last few minutes of the game to turn the tide on Tullaroan, finishing out the county final with 2-10 to his name.
Huge congrats and well done to our own Conor Murphy who has WON the Kilkenny Sports Star Award for the month of October with @kclr96fm Well deserved Conor!! Now all roads to New Ross next Saturday at 1.30pm.
