Ballyhale Shamrocks Senior Hurler Michael Fennelly says that the Corofin Gaelic Football Team are the benchmark to aim for with their success at club level.
The Galway Club are going for three-in-a-row in Sunday’s All-Ireland Senior Club Football Final immediately after Shamrocks Hurling decider, and speaking to KCLR after Shamrocks All-Ireland Semi-Final victory over Slaughtneil, Michael says that Corofin are a perfect example for any clubs aspiring to success.
He said “Look at Corofin, they are three years on the trot so them lads give us a bit of inspiration at times seeing how they are do it like so there is always a benchmark there to aim for and they are doing it in the football”.
