Carlow’s senior men’s rugby team might be out of competition for the season but the Club has other sides very much in contention for honours.
Last season’s all conquering Under 17 side, now operating at Under 18 will play in the Leinster Premier League Final against Skerries in Donnybrook Dublin next Sunday 10 April 2016.
Last Sunday Carlow under 18’s beat Canadian touring side, Denison Husky High School, by 31-15 at Oakpark.
At the same time as the Under 18’s will be playing in Donnybrook the Carlow Ladies Coyotes team will play in the Leinster Women’s Town Cup in Oakpark.
Next Saturday April 9, this season’s Carlow Under 17 team play Navan in North Kildare in the semi final of the Leinster Culleton Cup.
Carlow’s under 15 side have reached the final of the Leinster Plate in which they will play Mullingar next Sunday.
Carlow’s under 13 side have had a good season reaching the semi final of the Leinster premier league where they lost to a very strong Athy side last Sunday.
