Having kept his nose clean through the Saturday stages of WRC Rally Sweden, Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team driver Craig Breen has moved up to fifth place overnight.
A dramatic end to the day saw rally leader Thierry Neuville retire with a broken wheel.
“I’m really struggling with the rear of the car. Trying to carry some good speed in places but the rear is trying to get past me in others”, said Breen on moving up to sixth over all before Neuville’s retirement.
Jari-Matti Latvala takes over the lead going into the final day with Ott Tanak 2nd and Sebastien Ogier in 3rd.
Today’s stage is underway as of 7am Irish time with Breen looking optimistic in the early start.
“Quite a good start. We made some changes to the set-up in service and they have made a good difference. I’m happy with that.”
