Crettyard United Ladies manager John Delaney says that having several of the squad with big match experience will help ahead of Sunday’s Leinster Junior Ladies Cup Final against Willow Park.
They’re going for the treble in that game which kicks off in Portlaoise at 2pm.
In the trophy cabinet so far is the O Neills Women Carlow Cup and the Womens Division one Cup.
Speaking to KCLR, John says their hard work all season has paid ultimate dividends….
“To win a domestic treble is just, I don’t think any team has ever done it before with a league and two cups, to so it this year has been absolutely fantastic, its credit to the girls”
“They’re a fantastic bunch and they’ve put in a huge amount of work this year and it just shows when you do put your mind to something you can achieve great things, and they’ve certainly done that this year”
“They’ve played on a big stage before and were confident that will help us out, I think we had seven girls on the Oscar Traynor squad this year and they’re used to the big occasions so that will stand to us on Sunday”
