Crettyard United manager Patrick Brennan says they won’t be resting on their laurels despite having reached the last 16 of the FAI Junior Cup.
Attention turns to the Leinster Junior Cup as Crettyard are at home to Gorey Rangers, and speaking to KCLR, Patrick says they are determined to go as far as they can in the outside competitions.
“It’s a massive achievement to get to the last 16 of a National competition like that for a club like ourselves”
“We are not in a big urban area or anything like that”
“To get that far, we want to keep the show on the road and go as far as possible, but look at this stage, luck plays a huge part, the draws are massive, I think there was only one away team won at the weekend in the FAI Junior Cup so look, to get their is great but we don’t want to stop at the last 16, we want to keep going as far as we can”
