Dan Shanahan says that Carrickshock will have to keep the two Mannion brothers quiet if they are to win Saturday’s All-Ireland Intermediate Club Final.

Carrickshock and Ahascragh of Galway are in the Intermediate final at 4.45pm while Mooncoin are out first against Cork outfit Mayfield in the Junior hurling decider at 3pm.

Speaking to KCLR, Dan who featured for Lismore in their All-Ireland Semi-Final defeated against Saturday’s opponents says that the Galway Club have a strong work ethic…..

“We were beaten (in the semi final), the two lads, the two Mannions were serious factors in that and if Carrickshock are to beat them, and it will be a good game, they will have to take down the two Mannions”

“But again, it’s not only the two Mannions but they worked very hard, they work very hard, they outworked us on the day, but when you look through the Carrickshock Team, my god it’s full of talent, it’s absolutely full of talent, I don’t care what age they are or how old they are or how slow they are or how fast they are, they are full of talent and they have been there before in Croke Park on big days”
