Danesfort Senior Hurling manager Anthony McCormack says the work-rate from their victory over Clara needs to be reproduced for Sunday’s second round clash against Bennettsbridge.
The sides battle it out in Nowlan Park on Sunday at 3.30pm.
Speaking to KCLR, Anthony says the squad possesses a good blend of youth and experience….
“In fairness against Clara, the lads put in a huge effort and the work rate was fantastic like and they will have to do it again, and again and again I suppose”
“It’s no point in doing it in once off situations, you have to perform constantly but it is great to have the two lads (Richie Hogan and Paul Murphy)”
“There is a wealth of experience there, Paddy Hogan there, Robbie Walsh and Phily Walsh as well so we have a good blend now this year of I suppose youth and experience so hopefully we will get the result and keep putting in the hard work”
We’ll have live online commentary of the game on www.kclrfanzone.com/live here on Sunday with Michael O Leary.
