Darren O’Neill says it’s fantastic that David Drennan has reached a first National Junior 1 63KG Final this coming Saturday afternoon.
David comprehensively won his Semi-Final bout 5-0 last Saturday, and is up against Rory O’Gorman of St. Malachy’s and speaking to KCLR, Darren is hopeful about his prospects.
He said “It’s fantastic for David, David has been knocking around there for a few years now, but thankfully he is after winning the Semi-Final, he is into the Final, first time in a National Final for him so we don’t know how it will go, obviously he is up against it so hopefully he will come through next week and all the best to him”.
