The Address UCC Glanmire made it 13 league and cup wins in a row with a 99-52 win at IT Carlow Basketball in the MissQuote.ie Super League on Saturday.
The InsureMyHouse.ie Paudie O’Connor Cup champions led at the end of each quarter, with their points evenly spread.
Their two Americans led the scoring, Tierney Pfirman on 18 and Carrie Shephard on 15, followed by Ireland international Claire Melia with 11.
IT Carlow’s offensive efforts were headed by Lauren LaPlant (22), Alyssa Velles (12), and Miah Ryan (10)
The Address UCC Glanmire head coach Mark Scannell speaking after the game said:

“Annaliese (Murphy) was back from injury, so all good. Carlow as always play hard and keep coming at you and some of their younger players were good today. So now we can concentrate on (WIT Waterford) Wildcats on Wednesday, a huge game at this stage of the season.”
Marble City Hawks
In the MissQuote.ie Division 1, Limerick Sport Huskies were 40 point winners at Marble City Hawks, winning 91-51.
A third of their points came courtesy of Yuleska Ramirez (31), backed up by Taylor Head (18), Sophie Moore (11) and Sinead Nihill (11).
For the home side Elaine Kennington once again was top of the score charts for them on 10 points, followed by Joanne Wall (9) and Grace Lawlor (7).
IT Carlow Men
In the InsureMyVan.ie Division 1, second-placed IT Carlow Basketball were due to play Limerick Celtics on Saturday, however, it was postponed due to Covid-19.
