Dicksboro Under-21 Hurling manager Sean Moore says the Under-21 Club Championship is a very important competition to win as it’s a vital stepping stone to the Senior grade.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Under-21 Roinn A Semi-Final clash against O’Loughlin Gaels, Sean says the enthusiasm among the squad is high.
“I think everyone is very enthusiastic to win the u21 Championship because I think it’s a stepping stone to the Seniors.
“The standard is very good and it’s a great Championship to win.
“It’s just a pity it is so late in the year, but it is a great Championship and it is a very competitive Championship and anyone of 5 or 6 teams can win it so there is certainly loads of enthusiasm for it,” he said.
The game has a 1.30 start on Sunday at Pairc Sheamuis Stiophan.
