Dicksboro Under-21 manager Ger Henderson says they are happy with how preparations have gone despite been only able to train weekends.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s re-arranged Northern Under-21 Junior A Final against James Stephens, Ger was very impressed with the Village in their victory against O’Loughlin Gaels last time out…..
“We have trained in the last two weekends. We trained well. Trained on a Fridays and Sundays. Most of the guys are in College obviously so we are leaving them to their own devices during the week and we are just training basically at the weekends so we have trained well and we are very well prepared for Sunday and we are looking forward to it”
“I was very impressed with their performance. They were straight out of the blocks and they got a good score up very quickly They were about 0-7 to 0-2 up after about 20 minutes and they kind of kept that lead for the rest of the match but I was very impressed with their work-ethic and the way they played the game”
