Do you have what it takes to be Carlow and Kilkenny’s FIFA 20 Champion?

Kilkenny & Carlow county players join 30 others for FIFA20 Charity Online Tournament in aid of frontline workers

With no European Championships this summer, KCLR have teamed up with ElectroCity Carlow and Kilkenny to bring you the Carlow-Kilkenny European FIFA 20 Championship.

24 gamers will battle it out online to be crowned Carlow and Kilkenny’s Ultimate FIFA 20 champion with the winner being awarded some amazing prizes from ElectroCity, all to enhance their home gaming experience.

How it works

A draw will be made matching gamers up to a European team (Ireland included, of course) and from that the games and fixtures will be played out in the same fashion as UEFA EURO 2020. ( Match Schedule ).

The draw will be made on Wednesday 10 June with the curtain raising match taking place on Friday 12 June as Turkey take on Italy.

This competition is only open at this time to Sony PlayStation gamers.

Tournament Rules

  1. Entrant must have FIFA 20 on PlayStation 4 with good online access as initial games will be played online.
  2. Entrant must be available for every fixture.
  3. Contestants must add each other before fixture.
  4. Fixtures for each country will follow same format as UEFA EURO 2020.
  5. Same rules of European Championships applies here (with exception of suspensions after red cards).
  6. No custom squads or players.
  7. Online gamer handle must not be offensive.
  8. Both match participants have to record there game on built-in PlayStation function and post it to YouTube or any other accessible platform ( Heres how to do it ). Game Link must then be issued to KCLR email address [email protected].
  9. Interviews may be asked of contestants for on air or online purposes
  10. Semi-final and finals may be played in neutral venue and broadcast live on air and online, circumstances allowing. Contestant will be on camera.
  11. Croatia, although qualified, is not in FIFA 20 Game. They will be replaced by Greece for the purposes of the tournament.
  12. Path A – Iceland, Path B – Republic of Ireland, Path C – Scotland and Path D – Hungary (Due to no team in path D in the game)
  13. Draw will be made matching gamer handles with country they will represent.
  14. KCLR hold the right to amend any rules that may be necessary to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
  15. Winner will receive prize in due course.
