Kilkenny will have to up their game to beat Cork says Ann Downey

Ann Downey

Kilkenny Senior Camogie manager Ann Downey says they will have learned more from last Sunday’s defeat against Limerick than they would have in victory.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of clash up in Navan, Anne says they are well off the pace.

“You always learn something in defeat, you have to learn something in defeat and at times I suppose maybe you learn more in a defeat than you do in a victory so we are not panicking.

“We know that we are way off the pace at the moment and we are just looking forward to getting the win hopefully on Sunday up in Meath and qualifying for a League Semi-Final,” she said.
