Dundalk Chairman Paul Browne says Thomastown United’s victory over Shamrock Rovers makes them wary of the threat they are going to pose ahead of Monday nights Leinster Senior Cup Quarter-Final clash.
Speaking to KCLR, Paul says that Thomastown will get a warm welcome to the Wee County.
“We know Thomastown and the Kilkenny Leagues, obviously with Stephen Kenny going through the country and seeing different players so we are looking forward to meeting every Thomastown player and at the end of the we will give them a good Dundalk North Louth welcome.
“That was a great thing for us to happen(Thomastown defeating Shamrock Rovers) but at the end of the day, of course you have to take every game as it comes, we will be wary of Thomastown and the fact they defeated a team of the calibre of Shamrock Rovers.”
