Eire Og Senior Football Manager Joe Murphy says that they are delighted to be involved at the business end of the Championship at time of the year.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of today’s (Sunday) County Senior Semi-Final clash against Bagenalstown Gaels, Joe says the latter end of the County Championship is something to eagerly anticipate especially when the Summer ends.

He said “Why would you change it, look it’s something really to look forward to, you knock a great bit of joy out of it so I am sure Bagenalstown and Rathvilly and Palatine feel the same, everyone is happy to be here at this stage, we are coming to the end of September so it’s all to play for”.
