Eire Og Under-20 Football Manager Derek Hayden says the County Board don’t have regard for planning fixtures played in the Under-20 Championship.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of today’s (Sunday) Under-20 Championship Semi-Final clash against Michael Davitts, Derek says it ridiculous for the Senior players to be considering playing two matches in less than 24 hours.

He said “I actually can’t even remember when we played our last game in the Under-20 so they kind of just throw it in”.

“I don’t think there is any regard for it within the County with the County Board and the fixtures because they are just throwing on games when it suits them, and that doesn’t help players. They are trying to make us play two games in less than 24 hours”.
