The draw has been made for the ElectroCity FIFA20 European Championships.
With UEFA EURO 2020 pushed out to next summer, we’re turning our attention to eSports and Kilkenny and Carlow’s biggest gaming event of the summer.
Every name that registered to play over the past week made it into the pot in Studio 1 on Wednesday afternoon and here’s who’s going to be taking part over the coming weeks.
We’ll be following the original fixture dates as set out by UEFA as we search for Kilkenny and Carlow’s number one FIFA20 player.
The Draw
In football fashion, the draw was conducted in studio by Shane O’Keeffe of Saturday & Sunday Scoreline and Ken McGuire of KCLR Drive.
All names registered were in the draw with teams drawn in rotation for groups A through F until all 24 teams were drawn.

The first game takes place this Friday as Daniel Nolan’s Turkey take on Mick Gavin’s Italy.
