Former Kilkenny Senior Hurler Eoin Larkin is hopeful that the extra few weeks training will see Cillian Buckley feature at some stage in tomorrow’s (Sunday) All-Ireland Quarter-Final clash against Cork.
Speaking to KCLR, Eoin says that Brian Cody was right not to have used the Dicksboro player in the Leinster Final defeat due to his injury difficulties.
He said “I know he did play with Dicksboro but he wasn’t right so and Brian doesn’t usually like to play people that are not 100% right, in saying that he did play him in Wexford Park and pulled him ashore after maybe 30 or 40 minutes so didn’t use him last week, but he would be hoping another couple of weeks training into him he might see him at another stage”.
