Erins Own Castlecomer Senior Hurling manager Liam Dowling says Carrickshock will still be formidable opponents despite having lost all of their 5 matches in the League section.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday evening’s first round Championship clash, Liam says Carrickshock are always difficult to play against.
“They are a very experienced team and physically strong.
“I think they are going to be formidable opponents at the weekend.
“They are always tough to play against and There’s never anything in it between us.
“They are going to be very very tough team to beat like, a really experienced team,” he said.
The game throws in at 5pm in Clara on Saturday.
