Manchester United, crashing out of the UEFA Champions League last week, will head to current La Liga leaders Real Sociedad in the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League.

The draw was made early on Monday following on from that of the last 16 of the Champions League.

Today’s draw will be seen as a tricky prospect by United fans, equally too for Arsenal who face a Benfica side away who haven’t lost in Europe on home soil in 25 games.

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers side will hope their current league form extends to the Netherlands with a trip to Royal Antwerp on the cards. While Leicester and Tottenham face Slavia Prague and Wolfsberger respectively. E

Easy enough for Spurs one would think, but nothing guaranteed for Leicester with Slavia Prague looking well in the group stage.

UEFA Europa League Last 32 Draw

  • Wolfsberger v Tottenham
  • Dynamo Kyiv v Club Brugge
  • Real Sociedad v Manchester United
  • Benfica v Arsenal
  • Red Star Belgrade v Milan
  • Royal Antwerp v Rangers
  • Slavia Prague v Leicester
  • RB Salzburg v Villarreal
  • Braga v Roma
  • Krasnodar v Dinamo Zagreb
  • Young Boys v Bayer Leverkusen
  • Molde v Hoffenheim
  • Granada v Napoli
  • Maccabi Tel-Aviv v Shakhtar Donetsk
  • Lille v Ajax
  • Olympiakos v PSV Eindhoven

The round of 32 games are set for 18 and 25 February. This year’s Europa League Final is booked for Gdansk, Poland, on 26 May.
