Thomastown United A and Evergreen A are going to be playing in the KCLR McCalmont Cup Final for the third consecutive year.
In yesterday’s semi finals at Derdimus, Thomastown beat Highview Athletic 5-0 and Evergreen A beat Evergreen C 2-0.
Thomastown United Manager Stevie Walsh says having a McCalmont Cup Final to look forward to keeps the season going.
Speaking to KCLR after their Semi-Final victory against Highview Athletic, Stephen says the Final between themselves and Evergreen will be one to savor.
“I suppose we are looking forward to it and I’d say Evergreen are looking forward to it. This should be a great final.
“I think the last two finals have been very good and there’s very little between the two teams.
“We will be all out for it and vice-versa but we are looking forward to it, it keeps our season going big time,” he said.
