The dates for the LFA Junior Cup fifth-round ties have been confirmed with four local sides still in contention.

Up first, Thomastown United takes on St Pauls Artane this Sunday while Evergreen goes up against Hardwicke on the 24th.

Evergreen did come up short in the previous round against Ashbourne however there were reports that the opposing team fielded an ineligible player for the encounter. It has since been confirmed by club sources that one player registered with Ashbourne had previously played an FAI intermediate game with St. Kevins, which would have ruled him out of participating in the LFA Junior Cup for a different team. Now the Kilkenny Premier Division leaders and defending champions are back as they search for a coveted, so far elusive, Leinster title.

New Oak Boys travel to Tully Park to play Trim Celtic on the 26th with Freebooters welcoming Ferns United on the same day.

Friday March 10th
MP FC v Home Farm FC, Grangegorman TUI, 7-30

Saturday March 11th
Aungier Celtic v Monread FC, Brickfield Astro, 12-30

Sunday March 12th

North End United v Gorey Rangers, Hollygrove, 2.0

Friday March 24th
Hardwicke FC v Evergreen FC, Dublin Port Stadium, 7.30

Sunday March 26th
Trim Celtic v New Oak Boys, Tully Park, 2.0
Freebooters AFC v Ferns United, Watershed, 2.0

We will be shouting on every team en route to success in hope of an all-local final.
