Forever and ever.
Evergreen faithful will be happy with the weekend’s result as the Kells Road outfit progressed to the last 32 of the FAI Junior Cup with a win over Kilnamanagh on Saturday.
The Dublin opposition provided a good test at home for Gary Maher’s men but it took until the second half to break the deadlock.
Mikey Drennan was first on the scoresheet, Jamie Owens crossing in for Drennan to latch on to for the go-ahead goal around the 50 minute mark before Drennan returnd the favour, this time crossing in for Niall Andrews to collect and double the lead midway through the second half.
Evergreen will face Donegal Junior League outfit Castlefin Celtic in the round of 32, that game being played out week ending 14 January.
