Evergreen Manager Gary Maher says their is great enthusiasm and commitment among the squad despite the stop start fixture schedule list in recent weeks.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday morning’s Pat Maher Shield Semi-Final clash at home to Thomastown United – which now kicks-off at 10.30am – Gary their is plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks.
He said “We are lucky in that sense between our facilities and the group of players we have that the commitment and drive is always there still to train week in, week out, and we were lucky I suppose last Sunday as well”.
“We actually have ten lads in the Kilkenny Oscar Traynor Squad, seven of them taking part last week so a lot of them lads would have got game time as well there so we are in a good shape heading into the home straight of the season at the moment”.
