It might not necessarily be the draw either side wanted, but Kilkenny’s got itself a local derby for this year’s Leinster Junior Cup Semi-final.
The draw for the last four was made on Tuesday night and sees Thomastown United A make the short trip to the city to take on Evergreen at at the Kells Road on Sunday 22 May.
In the other semi-final, Crumlin are set for a big tie wit Sheriff YC, that game likely played out on Saturday 21 May.
Regardless of the result, at least we know at this stage that Kilkenny will have representation this year’s Leinster Junior Cup Final.
We’ll have more on the Fanzone and through KCLR Sport in the buildup to the semi final clash, kick off on 22 May is set for 11am.
