Kilkenny Minor Hurling Selector Martin Carey says that having the benefit of playing three matches in Croke Park will be huge ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland Minor Final against Galway.
Speaking to KCLR, Martin says the experience of having played there is a major plus for very young players
He said “Certainly more games is the better especially in Croke Park because when you realise these guys are only 16, 17 years of age in a massive stadium like Croke Park, the more games that you can play there certainly is a benefit, but in saying that Galway is a huge team and it won’t faze them one bit, but certainly for our lads at the start of the year, ambition to get to Croke Park and been there three times is huge going into the final”.
