Fenagh Juvenile Gaelic Football Chairman Michael O’Brien says the squad have a self-belief they can defeat anybody.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of this weekends Leinster Minor League Semi-Final against Athlone, Michael says the team has been steadily for a number of years.
“Fenagh are a very very good side”, said O’Brien in speaking with KCLR’s Michael O’Leary this week.
“They won a good Championship this year. We reversed a result with Eire Og. Beat a good Eire Og team in the Final. Beat another good team in the Semi-Final in Michael Davitts.”
“The team has been building in confidence, they have been building for a number of years now and the coaches are getting a very good tune out of them now. The important thing is that they have a self-belief that they can beat any team that is put in front of them and we would be looking that way on Sunday.”
“That match now is moved to 12.30pm against Athlone but Athlone are going to be a very very good side, but we are not half bad either.”
