The 2021 camogie all-star awards take place tonight (Saturday).

The event is going virtual this year due to the pandemic, the first time in its history to do so.

Denise Gaule and Grace Walsh are nominated for “Senior Player of the Year” with the Kilkenny ladies going up against Galway’s Shauna Healy.

The intermediate layer of the year shortlist is Maeve Kelly (Antrim), Niamh Mallon (Down), and Sara-Louise Graffin (Down).

On the Junior shortlist you have Ciara Donnelly (Armagh), Leanne Donnelly (Armagh), and Róisín O’Keeffe (Cavan).

There’s a change to this year’s awards in that due to the shortened nature of the 2020 Championships there will be no nominees lists released, with the winning teams announced on the night of the awards instead.

The running order will see the 15 Soaring Stars winners announced followed by the respective Manager of the Year and the Players of the Year from each grade before finishing with the announcement of the 15 All-Stars Award winners for 2020.
