The Revise.ie U19 Hurling League begins for the majority of teams tonight with thirteen games taking place across the county.
The competition starts following the completion of the Leaving Certificate examinations with players returning for what promises to be an enthralling and intense period of hurling locally.
The pick of the ties tonight sees city rivals Dicksboro and O’Loughlin Gaels go head-to-head in Roinn A, while Mooncoin host Erins Own in the only other game in the top tier.
Piltown take on Rower Inistioge and Young Irelands face Graigue Ballycallan in Group B of Roinn B, with Bennettsbridge travelling to Tullogher Rosbercon and Glenmore at home to Lisdowney in Group A.
Roinn C sees Conahy Shamrocks go up against Danesfort, Tullaroan host Graignamanagh, Dicksboro and Mullinavat meet in Palmerstown and Carrickshock welcome St Martin’s to Hugginstown.
St Patrick’s and Kilmacow face off in Roinn D with that grade also providing the clash between St Lachtain’s and Barrow Rangers.
There is one encounter in Roinn E as Fenians and John Lockes meet in Johnstown.
