The Football Association of Ireland are kicking off their festive programme for football for all players today.
Following on from the success of FAI Homeskills earlier this year, the festive programme dubbed Football for All Homeskills kicks off today (St. Stephen’s Day).
Football for All development officers Nick Harrison and Chris McElligott are behind the initiative.
So what’s happening?
Over the course of the Festive period, there will be daily videos for Amputee Football, Blind Football, Powerchair Football and for footballers with Additional Needs.
Republic of Ireland coach Damien Duff has leant his voice to the campaign and will narrate the opening three videos which are aimed towards Amputee footballers.
Each day from 11 am, the videos will be broadcast on the FAI Grassroots Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube pages.
To follow the video lessons over the Festive period, follow the hashtag #FFAHomeskills on all social media channels.
