Former Ballyhale Shamrocks Senior Hurler Kevin Fennelly says that the current Shamrocks crew have the potential and firepower to dominate in Kilkenny over the next few years.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s showdown against James Stephens, Kevin says their is plenty of talent coming through at under-age.

He said “They have the firepower and there is no question about that and the young lads are coming through and they are very good”

“They are after winning the last two Under-21 County Finals, so I mean it’s unquestionable the talent that they have, I mean it’s amazing how they keep producing in Ballyhale year after year but like their is a young crop of players there at the moment and they are just as good as what has gone ahead of them, and they are going to be difficult to beat in the next few years”.
