Former Leinster and Ireland out-half Mick Quinn says the Andy Farrell is the perfect replacement for Joe Schmidt when the New Zealander departs after the end of next years Rugby World Cup.
Speaking to KCLR, Mick expects the solidity within the set-up to continue when the new Head Coach takes over.
“I think he has done the right thing. I think he has set out his template and he has also brought the solidity of the future into play by bringing Farrell through as the Head Coach.
“I think that is totally deserved as well and I think Farrell will do a very good job and I believe our gain is England’s very large loss the way they treated Farrell and Lancaster in the past,” he said.
Tune into KCLR’s Monday Night Sport from 6.30-7.30pm this evening (Monday) to hear the full interview.
