Paul Galvin has been confirmed as the Kildare senior football team’s forwards coach.
The former Kerry star joins a heavyweight backroom team under manager Glenn Ryan.
Johnny Doyle, Dermot Earley, Anthony Rainbow and Brian Lacey make up the remainder of the management as the Lilywhites look to bridge the gap between themselves and Dublin in the Leinster championship.
Following a glittering career with Kerry, Galvin made his first move into management with the Wexford senior footballers in 2020. That was short-lived, however, as he left the role before the championship had begun.
The four-time All-Ireland winner will be on the sideline for Kildare’s first league game against his native Kerry later this month.
