Former Kilkenny Senior Hurler John Power says that having Walter Walsh and Colin Fennelly back in the Kilkenny set-up will help greatly to relieve the pressure off TJ Reid.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Leinster Final against Wexford, John says there is plenty of quality in the Kilkenny attack not to be over-relying on the Ballyhale Shamrocks sharpshooter.

He said “TJ, he is some player and I suppose that is the big benefit with Kilkenny going forward that we have such a player and such a free-taker so Colin and Walter Walsh are great back-up to him and young (Adrian) Mullen and that there so it augurs well to give TJ a bit of help that we are not over-reliant on him that these players will relieve some of the pressure on him”.
