Former Limerick Senior Hurler Donal O’Grady says it’s important for Limerick to set the tone and ask questions of Kilkenny in Sunday’s All-Ireland Hurling Quarter-Final.
Speaking to KCLR, Donal says Limerick should try and make it as hard as possible for Kilkenny to settle.
“Just looking at the squad, Limerick are definitely in a good place as far as personnel goes.
“We have a nice strong squad, and I suppose a lot of the young lads have put their hand up and are playing very well for us but again Senior Championship hurling is so different.
“Kilkenny have that ruthless streak. A lot of times, Kilkenny go 7 or 8 points up it’s very hard to taper that back so I think it’s important for Limerick to set the tone on Sunday and take the game to Kilkenny and maybe ask them the questions,” he said.
