Former Kilkenny Senior hurler Aidan Fogarty feels that Kilkenny are not good enough to win the All-Ireland in 2018.

Speaking to KCLR on Sunday Scoreline, Aidan says that Kilkenny need several players to emerge as real contenders…..

“I think their is 52 guys in training there now at the minute. Their is four or five from most clubs”

“Their is five from Mullinavat, I think their is four or five from Bennettsbridge gone in so it’s going to be a very tight schedule to find some three or four because they need to find three or four guys”

“They need five or six guys to build a really really good panel, but their is plenty of guys in there”

“Whether it’s going to come to the mark, I would have my reservations about this year, about getting to the All-Ireland and winning the All-Ireland of course but it’s a building process but the right lad is probably at the helm at the end of the day, he’s done it before”
