He signed a short-term contract, with only 8 games left in the National League with Wrexham hoping to get promoted to the EFL League 2. The Red Dragons currently sit atop the table with 94 points, 3 points ahead of runners-up Notts county.
Here’s what Foster said about joining the Welsh side, “I’m over the moon. I’ve been at the Club for an hour this morning and it seems like a really nice place. Everyone is down to earth and the manager’s top-class.
“I’ve changed a lot since the last time I was here but it’s nice to be back and back as a player too, it will be interesting to see how my body feels after training today, I’m looking forward to getting started.”
Manager Phil Parkinson said of his signing: “We’re delighted to welcome Ben to the Club.”
“With Rob Lainton getting injured at the weekend, it was important we had all bases covered going into the last part of the season, which this signing ensures.”
Wrexham has become world-renowned in the last few years after Hollywood hotshots Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over the club and decided to document the experience on Disney +.
