Four changes for Kilkenny as team to face Tipperary on Sunday is named

The Kilkenny team to face Tipperary in round two of the Allianz Hurling League Division 1B has been named.

Derek Lyng’s side take on Liam Cahill’s charges at 1.30pm on Sunday in UPMC Nowlan Park with the game live in full on KCLR with thanks to Laharts.

There are four changes to the starting team that lined out against Antrim in Belfast last week including Dicksboro’s Niall Rowe making way for O’Loughlin Gaels’ Conor Heary with the city club making up the back three. Shamrocks’ Darragh Corcoran will captain the side at left half back with David Blanchfield heading to the bench. In midfield, John Donelly makes way for Emeralds’ Killian Doyle while Shane Walsh is named to start in place of Clara’s Paul Cody who was in Fitzgibbon Cup action during the week.

Eoin Murphy returns to the fold, taking up a spot on the bench in place of Darren Brennan while Glenmore’s Ian Byrne and Erin’s Own’s Conor Fogarty are also included.
