Ballyhale Shamrocks hurler TJ Reid says, after whats been very long season for the team, it’s all about keeping players fresh at this time of year.

Ballyhale have been on the go since last years campaign where they lifted the All Ireland Club title and now face into a Leinster campaign.

TJ says you wouldn’t want it any other way though.

He said “It’s a dream come through to be honest (winning a county final), it’s a rollercoaster, any sports person would love to be competing at this rate”.

“You know, the way it’s gone now, its recovery, its freshness, there’s a whole science behind it as well and keeping lads on their toes and it’s not about going out and going 100 miles an hour every night, it’s about being fresh”.
