The bank holiday weekend is just about here and we’ll be out and about on Saturday, Sunday and Morning with three live games heading to KCLR and Scoreline.
On Saturday we’ll be in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin with Brendan Hennessy and former Irish rugby international Mick Quinn to bring you full coverage of Leinster’s Heineken Champions Cup semi-final against Toulouse. They’ve shown serious form in the last-16 and quarter-final stages and will be favoured with home advantage going into this weekend but with a place in next month’s final at stake, anything goes.
From 1.30pm on Sunday we’ll be building up to the visit of Henry Shefflin’s Galway to UPMC Nowlan Park in round two of this year’s Leinster senior hurling championship. This time last year saw Galway shave the game by a last-gasp point and with both sides already tipped to feature in this year’s Leinster final, it’s sure to be a cracker whatever the weather.
Then on bank holiday Monday, we’re back in UPMC Nowlan Park for full coverage of the Electric Ireland Leinster GAA minor hurling championship semi-finals as Niall Bergin’s Kilkenny side welcome Wexford to town, hopeful of building on their quarter-final performance against Offaly to set up a final with either Dublin or Galway.
Of course, we’ll have plenty of other sporting updates and discussions over the weekend including our analysis and reaction to Kilkenny v Galway, the latest from the Premier League, Tullow’s seconds’ rugby final and more on Scoreline beginning from 2pm this Saturday.
