The GAA’s CCCC met on Monday morning and have put times and dates on this year’s Allianz Hurling League semi-finals and relegation play-offs.
Kilkenny’s win over Waterford on Sunday means they’ve been paired with Cork at the same stage again this year while Tipperary will face defending All-Ireland champions Limerick.
For Kilkenny, it’s a home advantage this year (having played Cork away last year) so UPMC Nowlan will host the game on Sunday and it comes with a 4pm throw-in time. By the time the game gets underway, they’ll already know who awaits the winner in the final with Tipperary and Limerick set to face off at the TUS Gaelic Grounds at 7.30pm on Saturday.
Westmeath and Laois meet in the Division 1 relegation playoff at 2pm on Saturday in FBD Semple Stadium.
Also on Saturday, Offaly host Kerry in the Division 2A semi-final at 2pm, Wicklow meet Donegal in the Division 2B semi-final in Aughrim at 1pm, Armagh take on Monahan in the Division 3A semi-final at 2pm while at the same time in Division 3B Longford travel to Leitrim for their semi-final.
There’s one other game on Sunday that sees London take on Sligo in the Division 2B relegation playoff at 1pm.
