DLS Ladies Soccer Player Jennifer O’Keeffe says it’s been steady progression since herself and her sister Ali came onto the scene with the Kilkenny Under-14 Gaynor Cup Squad.
Speaking to KCLR, Jennifer says their progression has helped them become known at National level.
“After the Gaynor Cup Under-14s, we had a year that we didn’t go to it, the year after that so then we went straight to Under-16s, we had two years at that”.
“We did well every year we went, so we have always done well when we went down there and we kind of got our names known and got Irish Trials and stuff like that and then that got us well known into the League”.
