Former Kilkenny Senior Hurler Adrian Ronan says the genuine Kilkenny followers are hugely positive despite losing their opening two games in the National League.
Speaking to KCLR, Adrian says there is a lot to be hopeful about.
“I think that most supporters, the patient supporter will be reasonably happy with what’s after going on in the last two matches in Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Wexford and in Nowlan Park considering who we have lost and the players that are out injured.
“We do know there is five very very hugely influential players missing off the Kilkenny Team at the minute and no matter where you go, that’s a third of your team.
“Clare had probably at least 13 of their starting Championship Team. How many of the Championship Team do we have?
“Look, we are going through a change and a transition but I think we have a lot to be hopeful for,” he said.
